Whole-cloth construction makes it much more affordable than a pieced quilt, yet it retains the fine stitching, scalloped border, and fabric-bound edge of a handmade quilt. It is pre-washed, pre-shrunk, and slightly oversized, so it will fit generously on today’s deeper mattresses.
